ClearBlue's Michael Berends will be part of the panel "Innovation and Climate Change Strategy: At the intersection of GHG reduction, market mechanisms and climate adaptation" at the OCE Discovery event April 30 - May 1st at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Discovery is Canada's leading innovation-to-commercialization conference. Hosted by Ontario Centres of Excellence, Discovery brings together key players from industry, academia, government, the investment community as well as entrepreneurs and students to collaborate.
The innovation and climate change panel will look at the innovative companies working in the cleantech space, spurred on by program support from governments, global competitions, and consumer demand that companies be sustainable.
Berends will be joined by Céline Bak (Analytica Advisors), Blair Feltmate (Intact Centre on Climate Adaptation) and Annette Verschuren (NRStor, Inc.) to discuss some of the success stories and adaptation strategies to address climate change.
